At Thrive Behavioral Psychiatry, we are committed to clear and transparent billing practices and to helping our patients understand their financial responsibilities. Please review the following information carefully prior to your appointment.
Insurance Coverage
Insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance provider. While our office will make every effort to verify your benefits, we cannot guarantee coverage or payment for services rendered. It is ultimately your responsibility to understand your insurance plan, including covered services, co-pays, deductibles, and any limitations.
Estimates & Limitations
If requested at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, we can provide an estimate of your expected out-of-pocket costs.
These estimates are based on the information available to us at the time and are typically accurate. However, they may change due to factors beyond our control, such as pending claims from other providers, deductible updates, or changes made by your insurance company.
Please note that Thrive Behavioral Psychiatry does not accept secondary insurance. Any charges not covered by your primary insurance will be your responsibility.
Billing Platforms
Depending on your insurance plan, billing may be processed through one of our trusted third-party platforms, such as Headway, Grow Therapy, or Alma.
You may be required to create and maintain an active profile with the applicable platform, including up-to-date insurance and payment information.
Some billing statements, payment requests, or portal access may be managed directly by these platforms.
Payments
Patients are expected to pay all co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses prior to or at the time of service.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand that schedules can change. However, missed appointments prevent us from offering that time to other patients. Therefore, we enforce the following policy:
- Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $150 late cancellation fee.
- No-show appointments will also be charged $150.
These fees are non-refundable, but you may reschedule your appointment for a future date.
